To promote awareness about road safety among the students, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM), in collaboration with L&T Finance and TRAX NGO, organized a Road Safety Awareness Program on January 2, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike. The program commenced with an impactful Nukkad Natak (street play). The play vividly depicted the consequences of negligence on the roads, highlighting the importance of adhering to traffic rules, wearing helmets, and avoiding reckless driving. The engaging and thought-provoking performance captivated the audience (approximately 1000 students and faculties) leaving a lasting impression on the significance of road safety. The awareness drive also included a drawing competition on the theme of road safety. 179 Students from various departments showcased their creativity and understanding of the topic through compelling artworks. The competition provided a platform for students to express their perspectives on making roads safer for everyone. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony to honor the winners of the drawing competition. Cash prizes were awarded to: • 1st Prize: Neha Rajvanshi • 2nd Prize: Mohini • 3rd Prize: Visakshi Rajput • 4th Prize: Vidushi Mishra • 5th Prize: Akansha Khantwal The event was a resounding success, effectively spreading awareness about road safety and encouraging students to adopt safe practices on the road. NSS GLBITM remains committed to organizing such meaningful programs to contribute to societal well-being.
