Helmet Safety Survey
The Helmet Safety Survey held on October 16, 2024 at GLBITM, Greater Noida, was organized by the NSS Unit (NSS-PO2) in collaboration with L&T Finance Limited and TRAX NGO.
Total 15 student volunteers were involved in this event. The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of wearing helmets among two-wheeler riders with around 250 participants, including students, faculty and staff members.
The survey evaluated the participant’s awareness of helmet usage and their adherence to safety practices. Helmets were distributed to promote safer riding habits at the end of the event, which was graced by the chief guest, Mr. Hemant Upadhyay, ACP-Traffic Noida. He emphasized the vital role helmets play in reducing road accidents and injuries, encouraging participants to be responsible and safety-conscious.
The collaboration with L&T Finance and Trax NGO significantly enhanced the event's impact, making it a successful road safety initiative at GLBITM.
