Workshop on Prototype Design and Development
Shrinik Club of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, along with IIC conducted an offline workshop on “Prototype Design and Development – Prototyping” on 14th July, 2022. The workshop was started with the welcome speech by Dr. Shradha Gupta, Convener – IIC, GLBITM, after which our guest speaker, Mr. Ashish Kushwaha, who is a startup mentor, took over the session and introduced the prototype and its importance. He emphasized on analyzing the time spent on various activities and the outcome gained by them. He focused on importance of identifying the features and limitations of any product before going for prototyping. He said that we have to be negative also while going for any prototype process so as to analyze and judge the product and reach to the optimized solution.
Later, Dr. Manas Kumar Mishra, Director, GLBITM, interacted with students and mentioned that we need to explore the solutions beyond implementation. He asked students to make solutions dynamic in nature by extending the limitations and going out of comfort zone. He rightly said, “Comfort of others will make you an engineer, not yours.” He emphasized on improving skills and hitting one’s potential.
The session ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Sansar Singh Chauhan, HOD, CSE Department, GLBITM.
Overall, it was an interactive workshop where student’s problems were identified and solutions were given accordingly.
