Project of the month GULAAL- Rotaract Club of GLBajaj
In the month of colours and joy, the members of Rotaract Club of GLBajaj stepped forward to spread happiness and love with everyone around. Keeping in mind the sole motto of Allied for Change, they brought about the project of the month GULAAL (16th-22nd March’19). The project focused on the intention of helping the ones in need by celebrating the festive season with them. Stepping forward to be a part of their Holi with the aim of “Iss Holi, Khushiyon ka jahaan har ghar mein sajega”.
Through this project the team proposed to play Holi with the use of Gulaal and flowers only, thus preventing the wastage of water. Also, took an initiative to give out some ‘Holi ke Pakwaans’ made at homes to these kids. Keeping the same in mind, different Rotaract clubs from multiple districts were invited to join in making things colourful in the right way.
12 clubs successfully collaborated with the project, where more than 120 volunteers were a part of the initiative. Through this, Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj bagged the title of 'Project of the Month' and was glad to receive the respected trophy in the District Conference held in Neemrana,Rajasthan (6-7th April,2019) Holi is a festival which brings a rainbow of colours and happiness to the streets of India and the teams were happy to bring about change and joy to the innocent children and adults too.
