PARIKRAMA - The Campus Tour - Electric Vehicle Training Program
Electric Vehicles are a boon to India in the sense of Economy development and Environment Concerns. Moreover, in the upcoming generations, India will be moving forward to overpower the Electric Vehicles. With an objective to promote science outreach among school students and the general public, the GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Gr Noida, hosted a “PARIKRAMA: The Campus Tour”.
The theme of the event was to introduce the technological development in EV field through EV training session and onsite visit of the newly established EV center of Excellence at GLBITM. Students from 05 school namely Pragyan School, Sanfort School, Gyan International School, Sri Sri Ravishankar School, Pandit Salagram Junior High School, Greater Noida visited the Institute. Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organized this event in association with G L Bajaj Center for Research & Incubation. The Event was started with the welcome ceremony of all the invited teachers and students of various school by organizing committee of the event.
At the beginning of the event Prof. Manas Kumar Mishra, Director, GLBITM welcomed all the guests and talked about the basic science and technology with the basic advancement of EV. Invited speaker Dr S P Mishra, Advisor-GLBCRI briefed about the technological development in the field of vehicle. Mr Ankit Tayal, Department of EEE was invited to speak to the audience. He delivered an informative talk on status of electric vehicle in India. His presentation covers that the global warming becoming a severe issue, people have become aware of the need to embrace renewable energy programs directly and come to terms with more sustainable transportation options. After this session, the students visited various labs like a EV Lab, robotics, IoS, computer lab, PCB, Mechanical workshop project labs so that they can learn the practical science and technologies, which are in current use. The students with innovative thinking and drawing skills were then recognized and awarded by the dignitaries.
