Notice for Branch Change, Session 2018-19
All students of B.Tech. 3rd Semester, Session 2018-19 are hereby informed that application forms for branch change (on the basis of merit of marks obtained in B.Tech.1st Year, session 2017-18) are available at Administrative Office, Counter No.5. Eligible students are required to collect the prescribed application form from Office and duly filled form will be accepted at same place on or before 06.08.2018 (Monday) alongwith copy of first year (1st Sem. and 2nd Sem.) result.
Measure conditions / eligibility are as follows:-
1. Candidate must have PASS status with at least 60% marks in first year result (session 2017-18) in one attempt.
2. Students who have PWG / PCP / PCP-A status are not eligible and need not to apply for branch change.
3. Lateral Entry, Re-admitted and Ex-students are not allowed for branch change.
4. Branch Change will be granted on the basis of Merit and Choice only and subject to the final approval of the University.
5. Branch once changed, against branch change application, will not be withdrawn, reason what so ever. Therefore, all students are required to inform their parents and obtain their permission before submission of application for branch change.
6. Further, all are required to study the rule and regulations of University regarding branch change.
