Inter College Drone Flying Contest
Department of Mechanical Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM), organized an Inter College Drone Flying Contest on 13th May 2023.
7 teams participated in the contest in which, they had a variety of hurdles set up, through which teams had to guide their drones. The theme covered diversified areas including Robotics, Automation, Industrial Solutions, and Drone Technology.
Team from SRMCEM, Lucknow bagged the 1st prize followed by Team RKGIT and Team JSS as 1st and 2nd Runner up. Red Bird Aviation also joined us and graced the event with their Nano Drone, Drone Workshop, and a Drone Flying Simulator that helped all the participants of the event to understand the Drone Flying technology better. Mr. Mahip Singh, Head-Innovation Hub AKTU, and Dr. Anuj Sharma, Associate Dean-Innovation & Incubation, AKTU graced the event as the members of the Jury panel to evaluate drones.
