Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Programme (NIPAM)

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida in association with GLBCRI and NIPAM has organized an event for the students & faculty members on the topic “Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Programme” dated 14th March, 2022, Time 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Total 247 participants were attended the event. IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) is one of the key concern areas for India as the new economy is globalised, competition is not confined to national boundaries and with web based global marketing competitiveness is shifting to knowledge-based production (High Technology and Specialist skills). Hence this event was organised to sensitise about the IPR to the faculty and students. Mohammad Shoaib, Examiner of Patents and Designs (Gr A 'Gazetted'), The Patent Office Kolkata, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Government of India who is also alumni of GLBITM discussed about different types of Patents. He discussed about patent protection, commercialization of project, patent designing. Expert also discussed about economic rights and moral rights in copyright. This event created a great impact on the entire audience. At the end, Dr. Mohit Bansal, HOD, EEE Department convey vote of thanks
