Industrial Visit to Global Electrical and Controls

On 23rd November 2023, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, organized an industrial visit to Global Electrical & Controls Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Pramod Kumar, an alumnus of GL Bajaj, guided the tour and provided valuable insights into the company's operations. He explained the importance of switchgears and control panels in power distribution, highlighting their use in industries like oil, gas, and power substations. Mr. Kumar also discussed the growing demand for electrical panels driven by electrification, industrialization, and the automotive sector. The seminar emphasized the rise in market demand for control panels, especially in sectors like oil, gas, telecom, and automotive, providing students with a deeper understanding of the industry's future growth.
