Induction Program 2017-2018

An induction program for the students of B.Tech first year was held from 15 to 28 Jan 2018. The event began with the motivating speech of Director of the institute Prof (Dr.) Rajeev Agarwal. He addressed the students and told them about achievements of institute in various field. He also told students about the role of engineering and motivated them to be a good individual as well as responsible citizen. In this program following activities were conducted:
1. Lectures on Universal Human Values (delivered by trained faculties of UHV)
2. Sports like cricket, table tennis, Basketball, Futsal, race (boys/girls), tug of war (boys/girls), badminton (boys/girls).
3. Art and craft activities (Rangoli, Nail art, best out of waste, Mehandi, Face painting, theme based sketching, T-shirt painting and tattoo creation competition).
4. Written and verbal quiz (conducted to check the general as well as technical knowledge of the students.
5. Debate and Essay Writing competition (To check their spoken and written efficiency). Students of B.Tech. First year participated in this program with full zest and zeal. This induction program was the first event for new students and they enjoyed it a lot. The program was successfully completed under the guidance of Prof (Dr.) RK Mishra, HOD(Applied Science) with the support of all faculty, staff members and volunteers.
