A Guest Lecture was organized by Civil Engineering Department on 10th of July, 2021 on the topic of Pharmaceutical Waste. It was given by Dr. Jitesh Lalwani, who has worked over the topic rigorously and has a deep knowledge of the field. The session started with the pharma waste generation process and headed towards the solution to minimize the problem. Speaker discussed about the various reasons for the pollution and also the ways by which it can be controlled. He also shared his work experiences during the research done on pharmaceutical waste in Hyderabad region. With this session, a lot of information about the actual condition of the pharma waste came into picture like why this problem arises and why we are not able to control the issue in a better way.
