Faculty Industrial Visit - SIA Manufacturing Pvt Ltd

Three faculty members (Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav (HOD-ME), Dr. Ambuj Saxena and Mr. Rohit Sahu) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, visited SIA Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd (Ramghat road, Aligarh) on 24.02.2022 to explore the methods of design and development procedure of die casting for various applications. SIA Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. Was established in 1995. At present, the company caters to diversified range of products and services encompassing industries like automotive, hardware, plumbing and lighting industry. Company is specialised in aluminium and zinc precision pressure die castings and Engineering CNC machined components. There are about 400 employees in the company that work in day and night shifts. The faculty explored the possibility of doing research in collaboration with the Industry. Dr. Vinod Yadav (HOD- ME) met the Directors of the Company and requested to build a strong collaboration in terms of students internship, staff training and collaborative research.
