Blood Donation Camp 2017

A blood donation Camp was organized at GLBajaj campus on 19th September, 2017 as part of its CSR initiatives. The camp was organized by GLBajaj Rotaract Club in association with Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial. Medical Team of Doctors and Paramedical staff from blood bank camp for the smooth conduct of the camp. Around 1200 enthusiastic participants including employees, students and support staff participated in this noble cause. The program started at around 10 o clock in the morning and continued till 5:30 in the evening. A total of 624 units of blood was collected from all the donors who satisfied all the preliminary medical tests like BP, HB, weight-check etc. Many Rotarians (Delhi Imperial) including President - Mrs & Mr. Vinay Singhla, V. President - Mr. K.k. Gupta, Mrs & Mr. Shri Ram Goyal, Chairman blood donation committee - Mr. Nitin Goyal, Mrs & Mr. Ram Chand, Mr. Sushil Agarwal, Mr. Punit Agarwal, Mrs. Sonal Modi, Mrs. Avantika Didwania,Mr. Punit were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman- GLBajaj, Educational Institutions, “Blood donation is a noble cause and every blood donor has contributed towards community development. We thank our donors for their participation and will continue to associate ourselves with such initiatives in the near future.”
A cultural treat was also the part of the event where in students presented a trail of programs including dance, band performance, songs and a skit focusing on the importance of blood donation.
