The One-Day Technical Event, featuring an Idea Presentation titled "ElectraVision - Empowering the Future of Mobility," was successfully organized by the Enigma Club at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida. This event aimed to encourage innovative thinking and showcase visionary concepts in the field of technology.
The presentation on ElectraVision introduced a revolutionary concept aimed at transforming the future of mobility. Leveraging advancements in energy transmission technology and addressing the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions, the students proposed an integrated system that encompasses electric vehicles (EVs), EV charging infrastructure, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and renewable energy sources.
Key Features of ElectraVision:
Integrated EV Charging Infrastructure: The students proposed integrating EV charging infrastructure into ElectraVision's wireless power transmission system. This innovative approach allows electric vehicles to charge seamlessly while in motion or parked at designated charging points, eliminating the need for conventional charging stations and enhancing the convenience and accessibility of EV charging. Battery Management Systems (BMS) for EVs: The presentation highlighted the critical role of BMS in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of EV batteries. It discussed various functions performed by BMS, including balancing, performance optimization, and predictive maintenance, emphasizing the importance of effective BMS design and implementation. Renewable Energy Integration: Recognizing the significance of renewable energy sources, the students proposed integrating solar power generation into ElectraVision's infrastructure. Solar panels installed along roads and highways capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy, which is then wirelessly transmitted to power electric vehicles, thereby reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting environmental sustainability.
Smart Grid Connectivity: ElectraVision utilizes smart grid technology to optimize energy transmission and distribution, ensuring efficient power delivery to electric vehicles while minimizing grid congestion and energy wastage. By harnessing real-time data and advanced algorithms, ElectraVision maximizes the utilization of renewable energy sources and enhances grid stability and reliability.
