Expert Talk on Break The Stigma and Find Your Way
Department of Information Technology has organized an expert talk on “BREAK THE STIGMA AND FIND YOUR WAY” on 9th October ,2024 from 2:30pm onwards with motive “Stress should be a powerful driving force, not an obstacle.”
The resource person for the session was Mrs. Anu sethi, L & D Professional, Corporate Trainer Soft skill and Behavioural Proficient. The expert talk was aimed to provide students with valuable insights into stress management techniques for both personal and professional life.
The stress management talk was highly informative and engaging, with a variety of activities designed to enhance learning and understanding. Students actively participated in interactive activities such as clapping act and balloon activities. These activities helped them grasp the concepts of stress management in a practical and enjoyable manner.
The objective of a stress management session is to teach students how to identify and manage stress, and improve their overall well-being:
Understand stress : Participants learn what stress is, how it affects their mental and physical health, and how to identify their own stressors.
Develop coping mechanisms : Participants learn how to use mindfulness, relaxation techniques, time management, and prioritization to reduce stress.
Create a stress management plan : Participants develop a personalized plan to help them manage stress in the long term.
Improve interpersonal communication: Participants learn how to enhance their resilience and improve their communication with others.
Develop healthy lifestyle habits : Participants learn how to manage stress through diet, sleep, and other lifestyle factors.
Stress management can help people lead healthier, more balanced lives. Chronic stress can lead to serious health problems if not managed properly.
