SAAVISHKAAR - 2020

The Anvitha society of G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management was organized an inter college event, ‘SAAVISHKAAR’ from 3rd to 5th December,2020. This event was the first event of the newly formed society of Electronics and Communication Department. There were different events from cultural, sports, technical and literary department. The aim of SAAVISHKAAR was to build a platform for students to showcase their talents and polish their skills.
The cultural events were fun and mesmerizing which included a dance competition, a music game, photography, an open mic evening, doodle art and template designing. Participants from different colleges performed their best and made these events wonderful. The sports events were simple challenges of pushup and plank for all those fitness lovers. And the technical event included of a game based on technical words with different levels and rounds and has team participation. There were more than 210 participations in this event and a lot of these participants were from different colleges around. Everyone had put all their efforts while performing and made this event successful.

The winners of the dance competition, ‘SLAY THE FLOOR’ were:
Winner- VANDANA ARORA, KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS.
First runner-up - SIDDHI GUPTA, GLBITM.
Second runner-up – RISHITA AGARWAL 3rd year CS, GLBITM.

The winners of Open mic event, ‘MIC CHECK’ were:
SINGING CATEGORY
Winner- SALONI DHAWAN 3rd year ECE and PRIYAM SRIVASTAVA 2nd year ECE, GLBITM.
First runner-up – AMAN KUMAR VERMA, 3rd year CIVIL GLBITM.
Second runner-up – RONIT GUPTA, 2nd year ECE GLBITM.

POETRY CATEGORY
Winner- ATHARVA PRATAP SINGH, GLBITM 3rd year ECE and YASH NARAYANSRIVASTAVA, AJAY KUMAR GARG ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
First runner-up- NIVETHA RC from KGS COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE.
Second runner-up – SOUMYA DIXIT 2nd year ECE, GLBITM.

INSTRUMENTAL CATEGORY
Winner- AISHWARYA RAJ SRIVASTAVA 2nd yearvECE,GLBITM.

The winners of the musical event, ‘QUIZICAL’ were:
Winner- SIDDHARTH CHAUHAN 3rd year IT,GLBITM.
First runner-up – ANSHICA SINGH 2nd year ECE,GLBITM.
Second runner-up – NAINA RAJPUT 3rd year ECE,GLBITM.

The winners of the doodle competition, ‘SCRIBBLE IT’ were:
Winner- SHATISH KUMAR, BHARTI VIDHYAPEETH.
First runner-up- DARSHIKA GUPTA 3rd year CS,GLBITM.
Second runner-up- ANURADHA KUMARI 3rd year IT,GLBITM.

The winners of pushup challenge, ‘FLEX- Pushup’ were:
Winner- ABHISHEK YADAV, DR. BHIMRAO AMBEDKAR COLLEGE.
First runner-up- MADHAV MISHRA 2nd year CSE,GLBITM.
Second runner-up- SHIVAM KUMAR,GALGOTIAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.

The winner of the plank challenge, ‘FLEX-PLANK’ were:
Winner- MADHAV MISHRA 2nd CSE and JYOTI 2nd year ECE from GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT.
First runner-up- SOUMYA SINGH,3rd year ECE GLBITM. & SHIVAM KUMAR, GALGOTIAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.
Second runner-up- SUMIT CHAUHAN 3rd year EEE GLBITM.

The winner of template designing, ‘ARTIFY’ were:
Winner- MANSI SINGH, 2nd year ECE GLBITM.
First runner-up- ANJALI SHARMA, 3rd year ECE GLBITM.
Second runner-up- ISHA GOEL,3rd year ECE GLBITM.

The winner of photography, ‘NAZARIYA’ were:
Winner- ADITYA MISHRA 3rd year CSE GLBITM.
First runner-up- SOUMYA DIXIT 2nd year ECE GLBITM.
Second runner-up- ANJALI SHARMA 3rd year ECE GLBITM.

The winners of ‘WHO FINDS FIRST’ were:

Team A: RISHABH GUPTA and NAJMUDDIN KHAN 4th year ECE GLBITM.
Team D: MOHD. SAQUIB KHAN, TUSHAR TOMAR and VISHAL BISHT 2nd year IT GLBITM.

First runner-up-
Team C: BHAVIN GUPTA and BHOOMIKAS from DAYANAND SAGAE COLLEGE.

Second runner-up-
Team B: SALONI SINHA, PRIYA KUMARI and JYOTI 2nd year ECE GLBITM.

The participants were judged by the faculty members and were selected according to the marking criteria and all the participants gave their very best and their efforts and hard work made SAAVISHKAAR a success.
