Faculty Development Workshop on Teaching & Learning Pedagogy and OBE

Teaching and Learning feedback is taken from the students during the semester. During feedback analysis, a key observation related to teaching & learning pedagogy was found. Hence, there was a need to organize faculty development programme on Outcome based education, teaching learning practices. Therefore keeping the feedback points, department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has planned to organize a workshop on Teaching & Learning Pedagogy and OBE” from 04/05/2020 to 29/05/2020 . The major objectives of the programme were to make faculty members well versed with pedagogic methodologies and in particular, Outcome based teaching pedagogy. In view of this, faculty development workshop on teaching & learning pedagogy and OBE was organized. Total 55 participants attended the workshop.

All the sessions were very interactive and learning as well. It came to know that good teaching and education which is based on OBE must have a good design of curriculum, syllabus, teaching and learning strategies, and assessment, all must be constructively aligned. To effectively ensure that the course learning outcomes are achieved, the students must be engaged in the learning process.
