A Journey Campus to Corporates

Department of MCA, G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida organized an event “ Alumni Connect (A Journey : Campus to Corporate)” on Saturday 17 July, 2021. This event was in continuation of event of 10 July to discuss the struggle of alumni in their own words. For the event there were three Alumni’s of G L Bajaj from MCA department.
1. Arun Saini, Application Analyst, Bank Of America, MCA 2016, Talk Title: Technology Stack and Industry Insight.
2. Dhruv Saraswat, Software Developer, Tata Consultancy of Services (TCS)
3. Barkha Gupta, Automation and QA Engineer, Virtusa Pvt. LtD

Event started by formally welcoming the Alumni by Dr. Madhu. S. Gaur.
Then stage was passed over to Barkha Gupta. She discussed her journey how to start up and prepare the thing to be got ready for placement and after placement how to sustain and progress. She also discussed some concepts of java with some hands-on. She solved the queries from students as well as from faculty members.
The session was followed by Arun Saini. He explains the importance of campus and course taught in that Later on he focused on basic of programming and advised the students to be perfect in any of the one technology rather to be all-rounder.
In the last Dhruv Saraswat discussed his journey. He said not to run behind big brand if you are average, start from small company to explore more for technology. He also brief about the latest framework on java script. He gave in sight of React JS and answered the queries raised by students and faculty coordinators.
Overall, the session was well organized and beneficial for the students who are starting on this journey: Campus to Corporate.
