Orientation Program 2023, MCA Batch

Department of MCA, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida organized an Orientation Program for the newly admitted MCA students at the institute premises on 16-18 October 2023. The major objective of the program was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.
On the first day of orientation, the program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Director Prof. (Dr.) Manas Kumar Mishra, Dr. Mahaveer Singh Naruka - Dean Students welfare, HoD’s of all the departments, Dr. Madhu Gaur, Head- MCA and other dignitaries followed by Ganesh Vandna.

Prof. (Dr.) Manas Kumar Mishra, while delivering a speech on the occasion, said that it was not the events but the attitude that caused success. One third of what constitutes a person is his genetic inheritance; another one third comes from the kind of upbringing he /she receives and the remaining one third from one’s own self. He also stressed the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to have proper planning before taking up and implementing any project. He also gave a brief view about institution's achievements, incubation centers and rules regulations.
Dr. Mahaveer Singh Naruka, Dean Student welfare guided the students about the importance of being focused during two years of their course and advised them to stay away from all distractions. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Exam Controller GLBITM, also explained the exam culture.
After that under the Campus to corporate Our Alumnus, Abhishek Kumar from HCL-WebSphere Commerce Consultant at Metyis, UP shared his journey and enlightened the students
Dr. Madhu Gaur, Head-MCA, gave necessary information about the academic design of the first year MCA Course and the University and Institute rules and regulations regarding academic matters.
On the second Day ,Prof. Manju Khatri Director T & P, GLBITM, briefed the students about the placement process and give them mantras to crack campus interview. In her address, she assures Student that they leave the institution with degree and offer letter.
The program is carried forward to Mr. Harsh Raghubanshi, Early Career & University Liaison LTI Mindtree. He has explained the process of selection to the company.
After the course subject prerequisites Mr.Nitin Sharma, AVP - CS & Insights Mining | Customer Data Platform (CDP) CoE took on the dice and shared his story about the failure to success and asked new comer students to get themselves engaged into various courses offered online and get them implemented into their projects.

On the Third day of Orientation Mr. Manish Singh, Associate Staff Engineer at Nagarro and Mr. Nikunj Razdan, Release Manager HCL Technologies Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India delivered a wonderful session. The orientation end up with cultural program.
