Orientation Programme - Parichay 2023

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management set the stage for an electrifying commencement into the world of Management education with its grand event, "Parichay 2023" an Orientation Programme tailored for the MBA First-Year students. It was a day brimming with inspiration and insights into the realm of business and management.
The event was graced by the presence of eminent personalities like Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC and honorable director of GLBITM, along with esteemed Deans and Heads of various departments, welcoming an eager cohort of around 870 students. This was their gateway to acquainting themselves with the institution, its esteemed faculty, and the transformative journey awaiting them throughout their two-year MBA Programme.
The ambiance buzzed with anticipation as dignitaries warmly embraced and guided the freshers, ensuring a seamless transition into the vibrant world of management education. Prof. Manas Kumar Misra, the Honourable Director, GLBITM, captivated the audience by highlighting ten key principles pivotal for success in life. Dr. Vikas Tripathi, Head of Department, emphasized the significance of soft skills, communication and innovation—a cornerstone emphasized in the New Education Policy (NEP) to thrive in the competitive landscape. Adding to the enriching experience were other speakers like Dr. Manju Khatri, Director of Training & Placement, and Dr. Mahaveer Singh Naruka, Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Purnendu Shekhar Pandey, IIC convener who further motivated and equipped the students with essential information for scaling greater heights.
Embarking on a thrilling journey of entrepreneurial discovery, the Orientation Event was an electrifying launchpad for aspiring visionaries. Fueled by innovation and driven by a passion for change, students were ushered into a world of possibilities.
Led by dynamic speakers from the IIC of the institute and industry leaders and our very own star Alumini, the event pulsated with insights and strategies to nurture entrepreneurial spirits. It was a melting pot of ideas, where creativity collided with business acumen.
But it wasn't all formalities and speeches; the program was an engaging mix of indoor and outdoor activities designed to ignite creativity and foster teamwork. Students were divided into groups, participating in captivating management games orchestrated by a distinguished training organization. Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, students dove headfirst into the art of problem-solving, team dynamics, and harnessing innovation as a catalyst for change. The event was a catalyst for igniting the entrepreneurial spark within each participant. The aim of this orientation was profound—to immerse students in the campus's vibrant ecosystem, its legacy of achievements, exceptional faculty, and infrastructure. A campus visit and introductions to the diverse curriculum, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities set the tone for a holistic learning experience.
