IDEATION CHALLENGE COMPITION

E-Cell, GLBITM is organizing “Ideation Challenge Competition” in collaboration with Technology Incubation & Development, MIC and Litbox. It is a competition in which entrepreneurial aspirants will compete with other deserving ideas for the establishment of next industry in their name. This event will be conducted in two rounds. In first round “Idea filtration” will be taken place. A panel of committee will filter those ideas. Around eight ideas will be selected for final round. A grooming session has also been organized before final pitching round to shape the ideas. For the final round, Ideas will be enlightened with the investors, industrialist from outside. Top three Ideas will be awarded with a cash prize as seed funding. The winning teams will also be flavored with mentorship and mass funding ahead. The date of first round is 21st Jan and 2nd round will be conducted on 4th of February.


Parikalp 2016 (28-29 September, 2016)

Department of Mechanical Engineering with the support of Design Engineering Club and Design Innovation Center has launched an annual design championship in the name of PARIKALP. First edition of the event was held in the month of September, 2016. This championship aims for the development of interest in the domain of design engineering among the students, which helps in generation of skills required by the industries. We are also aiming to bridge the gap between industries and academia with the workshops and session executed by the industry persons.


Design Engineering Challenge:

Design Engineering Club organized this event for the promotion of design engineering among engineering students. This event has been classified in different categories as 2D Championship, 3D Designing Competition and Innovative Idea Presentation.


State Level Vendor Development Program:

G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management organized an event State Level Vendor Development Program for the micro, small and medium industries in association with MSME on 6th Feb, 2016.
Event has been attended with the crowd of more than 30 industry persons and faculty members of G. L. Bajaj including Director of institution. With the welcome speech by Honorable Director, Dr. Rajiv Agarwal, event has been initiated with the welcome speech for the the eminent speakers on the desk, Asst. Director of MSME, Dr. Amarnath and Mr. V. M. Jha, Dy. Director of MSME. In the session, Mr. Gautam Km. Rusia, Manager, BHEL, address the crowd with the possibilities available for small and medium industries to have a joint venture and business opportunities with BHEL. He also provided the benefits to be a part of venture and the policies available by the Government of India to support establishment of these industries.
Mr. V. M. Dixit, Joint GM, Ordinance Factory, provides the details for the registration of industries with ordinance factory and current projects. In the end of session, Mr. V. M. Jha, Deputy Director, MSME, address the crowd with the introduction of all the policies and available financial funding slabs for the entrepreneurs and established industries.


Incubator Awareness Program (5 February, 2016):

G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management organized an event for the Incubator Awareness among the students in association with MSME on 5th Feb, 2016. Event has been attended with the crowd of more than 250 students and faculty members of G. L. Bajaj including Director of institution. With the welcome speech by Honorable Director, Dr. Rajiv Agarwal, event has been initiated for addressing students by the eminent speakers on the desk and Asst. Director of MSME, Dr. Amarnath.
In the session, Dr. Surjeet Banerjee, Scientist-F, Department of Science and Technology, address students about the process for thinking of product as innovative product. His guidance for the approaching of right path for the development of innovative product provides a light in the darkness of their future to be an entrepreneur.
Mr. Vatsal Asthana, a successful entrepreneur, guides students with his experience and difficulties faced by him to become an entrepreneur. His views and way of expressing his words, makes the session interesting among the students and became one of the favorite speaker for the day. In the Second half, Dr. S. P. Mishra with the bundle of knowledge and experiences provided his approach for consulting students and guiding them. In the end of the session, Dr. Amarnath provides the brief description about the policies for the support of students to become an entrepreneur. Support includes consultancy, guidance and financial support for the innovative incubators.
